This is a story about guilt a festival of repercussion. I suggest you take a sit can you hear it? The drums in the distance insistent like a heart beat. The beat pounds away each impact is the price am going to pay the reward for my deviancy spelled out in it’s symphony and songs to my horror reveal my wrongs leave out no error I’ve committed. I will not be acquitted the drums in the distance are my jury and they do their work with fury. Each hard blow of the drum is a blow against a brother I gave each impact of the drum is a how I sent a brother to the grave. I did not care or perhaps to be fair I did care but I did nothing the drums in the distance offer an accusing reminder I did not help them when they were down I gave no joy or respite no smile. I just frowned and watched still as they drowned in their despair and pain. I pushed them in with my indifference all along never heeding the warning of the drums in the distance ?
